"Kai" V — Score for Tenor & Bass Recorder Duo (2026)

This piece is a newly revised version for tenor and bass recorders, based on two earlier works by the composer: Fantasy No. 3 for unaccompanied tenor recorder (2016) and Breathing Shadow (2026).
The music combines elements of classical European church modes, extended techniques for the recorder (such as slap tonguing, multiphonics, glissandi, and finger-hole tapping), as well as stylistic influences from traditional Irish and Japanese flute playing.
